『Hirokitia』は、好奇心旺盛な20代の旅好きが運営するブログ。様々な国や地域文化、歴史、そして現地の社会的背景に焦点を当てた視点から旅を語っています。
訪れた土地の文化や歴史、社会的背景にまで目を向け、そこでの体験を通して異文化理解と社会問題の洞察を深める、新しい旅のカタチを伝えます。筆者はこれまでに20ヶ国の放浪を経験。
旅行がもたらす学びや視野の広がりを共有し、異なる文化や社会への好奇心を刺激します。
ただの観光にとどまらずその地の文化、歴史、社会的背景まで切り込み、旅を通じて「世界を深く理解する」ことを目指す。
異文化について考え、社会問題に相対し、旅が持つ本当の意味を探求する場所。それが『Hirokitia』。
世界中の人に読んでもらうため、日本語だけでなく英語でも発信。言語力向上も目標に努力中。
そのほかにも大学生活や歴史に関する記事など、幅広く投稿しています。
名前の由来
Hirokitia（ヒロキティア）という名前は、キプロスの世界遺産である古代遺跡 Khirokitia（ヒロキティア）に由来しています。
遺跡や歴史が好きな僕は、旅をするたびにその土地に生きた人々の暮らしや文化を想像します。
そしてあるとき、地図を眺めていると、Khirokitiaの中に僕の名前であるHirokiが隠れていることに気づき、不思議な縁を感じたのです。
古代と現代、日本と世界を旅と言葉でつなぐ場所にしたい！
そんな思いから、このブログをHirokitiaと名付けました。

The Story Behind Hirokitia
The name Hirokitia comes from Khirokitia, an ancient settlement in Cyprus and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
I have always been fascinated by travel, history, and ancient ruins.
Whenever I visit a new place, I find myself wondering about the people who once lived there, how they spent their days, and what kind of world they saw around them.
One day, while looking at a map, I noticed something unexpected… my own name, Hiroki, was hidden inside Khirokitia.
It may have been nothing more than a coincidence, but somehow, it felt like a meaningful one.
I wanted this blog to be a place where travel and storytelling connect the ancient world with the present, and Japan with the wider world.
That is why I named it Hirokitia.
